What's this?

Experimental HTML5/WebAudio integration of Another Slight Atari Player. ASAP is a player of Atari 8-bit music for modern computers and mobile devices. It emulates the POKEY sound chip and the 6502 processor.

This page uses ASAP's existing JavaScript implementation (see "Desktop player in JavaScript") from ASAP's above project folder, i.e. the only code I added here is the one for the WebAudio based playback. Compared to my other music players (that I generated my own JavaScript for) it seems that the JavaScript here was generated using cito. The nice thing is that the generated code is actually quite readable - but unfortunately it is also rather slow (i.e. much slower than any of my other players).

Use your own music files by dropping them on the Atari 800. You can find my other WebAudio players here.
